Private Education
Childbirth & Breastfeeding Class
Feel more confident, informed, and prepared for birth, breastfeeding, and the transition to parenthood with personalised education delivered in the comfort of your own home.

Mind Body Baby's private education sessions provide practical, evidence-based information tailored to your individual needs, preferences, and circumstances. Whether you're preparing for your first baby or looking for a refresher, these one-on-one sessions are designed to help you understand your options, build practical skills, and feel confident navigating the early days of parenthood.

Unlike group classes, private education allows plenty of time for discussion, questions, and personalised guidance. Your partner or support person is encouraged to attend, helping you both feel prepared and supported for the journey ahead.

Private In-Home Education Sessions

Childbirth Education (2 hours)
Understand the signs and stages of labour, what to expect as labour progresses, comfort and support strategies, and the role of medical procedures and interventions. You’ll also learn how to make informed decisions throughout your birth experience, support physiological birth, and feel more prepared for the first hours with your newborn.

Breastfeeding Education (2 hours)
Build a strong foundation for breastfeeding with practical guidance on milk production, feeding cues, positioning and attachment, and how to recognise that your baby is feeding well. We’ll also cover common early challenges such as cluster feeding, expressing and storing breastmilk, tongue and lip tie, and where to access support if needed.

For families wanting additional hands-on preparation for labour and birth, Mind Body Baby also offers a Bodywork for Birth workshop, focusing on breathing, relaxation, mobility, positioning, and partner support techniques.
